Shadows

He hears the wind whisper,
He bares the pain of his fears,
The night always draws near,
For the shadows never falter...

Here in the corners of his mind,
Crawling in his very veins,
The voices...they seek,
Seek out the branches of the tree of Hope,

Hostage to his own thoughts,
In the dark he sits,
"I'll see you again one day"
Agonizing sentence to say such as goodbye

He retreats to the comfort of his bed,
But comfort of the body comes with a price,
The silent agony and screams of the mind,
He gives off a sigh,

"Here we go again" Silence fills the room,
But fate of mind is much more cruel,
For memories of once was is it's fuel,
To Agonize the broken in a duel,
Where morning comes and demons leave,
Where only then the soul can breathe.

"See you again dear Agony."
Fate lays cruel.
